On September 12, 2009, A&E Network will host the second annual Recovery Rally in New York City to celebrate National Recovery Month and draw national media attention to the fact that addiction is a treatable disease and recovery is possible. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend and form a human bridge of recovery on the Brooklyn Bridge. The Recovery Rally is planned in conjunction with the 2009 National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month Planning Partners.
